Gate Pier Repair

Repair of a gate pier which was damaged at the base. The pier was taken down and the bricks cleaned for reuse. A new metal post was installed adjacent to the pier, to support railings. The gate pier was rebuilt using the original, restored bricks, incorporating strap ties secured to the metal post. The pier was pointed and latches installed for the gate.
